God Chose You

"You did not choose me, no, I chose you." Jn 15:26. God reaches out and calls you - not because you deserve it, not because you earned it, or because you chose Him, but because he loved you as these words from Jeremiah and Isaiah affirm "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you came to birth, I set you apart. Jer 1,5 "I have loved you with an everlasting love." Jer, 31,2 "I have called you by name, and you are mine."  Is 43,1 "I have branded you on the palm of my hand. I will never forget you." Is 49,16.15 God has chosen you for His own purpose before you were born.
