Does God Love You?

Does God Love You? (I Asked the Same Thing — Here’s What I Found)
I used to google it at 2 a.m. “Does God love you when you’ve ruined everything?” “Does God love you if you don’t feel anything when you pray?” “Does God love you even if you’re not sure He’s real some days?”
If that question has ever kept you awake, keep reading. I stopped asking Google and started asking the Bible. The answers didn’t just comfort me — they chased me down and tackled me with grace.
Here’s what it actually says to every single one of us:
-
Genesis 1:26-27 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
- Does God love you when you feel completely unlovable? “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Romans 5:8 NLT) While we were still sinners. Not after we got cleaned up. Not once we proved ourselves. While the dirt was still under our nails, He said, “I love you enough to die right now.”
- Does God love you on your worst day? “The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love… He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.” (Psalm 103:8,10 NLT) Your worst day doesn’t scare Him off. It pulls Him closer.
- Does God love you when you walk away? “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” (Hebrews 13:5) “Return, faithless Israel… I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful.” (Jeremiah 3:12) You can leave a thousand times. He still leaves the light on.
- Does God love you when you can’t feel it? “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.” (Jeremiah 31:3) Love isn’t a feeling He turns on when you feel spiritual. It’s a fire that never goes out, even when you’re freezing.
- Does God love you when everyone else has given up on you? “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” (Psalm 27:10) Even if every human door slams shut, His is swinging wide open.
- Does God love you… period? “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” (John 3:16) World = you. Gave = proof. No exceptions listed. No fine print.
So does God love you? He loved you yesterday when you blew it. He loves you right now while you’re reading this with tears or doubts or numbness. He’ll love you tomorrow when you mess up again.
The cross already voted. The tomb is still empty. The answer is yes — louder than every lie you’ve ever believed about yourself.
You are loved. Not “you can be.” Not “you might be.” You are. Right now. Forever.
And nothing in the universe is strong enough to veto that.
If you are still not sure that God loves you now, as you are, here is an excerpt from the book: The Father Speaks To His Children.
I am coming to banish the excessive fear that My creatures have of Me, and to show them that My joy lies in being known and loved by My children, that is, by all mankind, present and future.
I am coming to bring hope to men and nations. How many have long since lost it!
This hope will make them live in peace and security, working for their salvation.
I am coming to make Myself known just as I am, so that men’s trust may increase together with their love for Me, their Father. I have but one concern: to watch over all men and love them as My children.
